From its beginnings in Callac over a hundred years ago, the Brittany spaniel is now a true globetrotter, found all over the world. The museum celebrates Callac’s passion for the breed, and its unique journey from past to present.

A wealth of objects, drawings, paintings, photographs, videos and impressionistic original film combine to recount a fascinating history rooted in the Argoat, birthplace of the breed.

The fun, interactive visit uses some surprising techniques including 3D animation, a zoetrope and an unusual opportunity to test human versus canine sense of smell !
