Basilique Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours

Historic site and monument ,  Basilica at Guingamp
  • Work for this Basilica - a remarkable piece of architecture - began in the 12th century and was completed in the 16th century. The south side gives a better idea of the architectural complexity of the building and the three different construction periods: Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance. It houses a rare Black Virgin, paving in the form of a labyrinth and an organ-case dating back to 1654. Free guided visits from Monday 16 July - Friday 17 August, from 10am-12.30pm and 2.30pm - 6pm...
